Megapipe Technical Support: FTP
Megapipe can help you set up a variety of e-mail clients. Some are listed below. If you would like to set up web-based e-mail, please contact Megapipe. Before you can upload your personal web, you will need to call Megapipe at 703-443-1010 to determine your FTP host.
To upload your personal page you need an FTP program. For Windows 95 & 98 users there is a very good ftp client at www.ftpx.com. It is free for home users. Once you have downloaded it, you will need to unzip it. When it is unzipped, you will see a graphical user interface (GUI) that looks somewhat similar to the Windows Explorer GUI. You need to enter the following information to upload your pages and graphics:
You may make subdirectories, but your start page (default.htm) must be uploaded to the main directory (You will already be there when you log in).
Remember, the start page must be named default.htm for the webserver to point to it.
